Chatham Moms for Change is proud to endorse Shala Gagliardi for Morris County Clerk for Morris County, New Jersey
CHATHAM, NJ – Chatham Moms for Change is proud to endorse Shala Gagliardi for Morris County Clerk for Morris County, New Jersey.
Gagliardi, a long time Chatham Township resident, lawyer and mom of three, has made a commitment to “restore accountability and integrity to the County Clerk’s office.” We support her belief that, “Running the County Clerk’s office shouldn’t be about politics, it’s not about Democrats or Republicans. It’s about service to the people of Morris County. And it’s “about ensuring the integrity of our elections and safeguarding our important documents.” Gagliardi is running for Morris County Clerk to bring transparency, fairness, bipartisanship, equality and accountability to the Morris County Clerk’s Office.
Chatham Moms for Change believes that Gagliardi will best represent constituents regarding the issues of transparency in government, the ability to understand and correctly administer Morris County Election law and that she will be a Clerk for ALL residents of Morris County, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veterans status, national origin, ancestry, or age.

The current clerk has been found guilty by a Judge in Parsippany of violating election law and most recently has sent a voter an entirely incorrect Vote by Mail Ballot, resulting in their inability to cast a ballot in this election.
From Morristown to Dover to Butler and Pequannock and all towns in between, Shala has been meeting with Morris County residents to hear and understand their issues. She has made it a point to meet with as many constituents as possible so she understands their concerns and can see where change needs to be implemented.

Knowing that Gagliardi’s values and beliefs are closely aligned with those of Chatham Moms for Change, we are excited to announce our endorsement and look forward to Gagliardi’s leadership as Morris County Clerk.
Chatham Moms for Change is a grassroots organization that was founded in October of 2016 and has now grown to over 800 members. We have built a community of support that allows our members to have a voice representing them at all levels of government and community involvement. Our members inspire and empower each other to spearhead community service projects, celebrate the diversity of our community, run for office, campaign for candidates and stand up when we see injustice.
