Chatham Playwright Featured In Upcoming Festival
Eleanor Kennedy will have her one-act play performed each night of the festival.
CHATHAM, NJ — A Chatham playwright will have her one-act play performed in the upcoming Jersey Voices One-Act Festival. Six playwrights will have their work showcased.
Eleanor Kennedy, a 33-year resident of Chatham, has had two other plays accepted into the festival, she told the Chatham Courier. Her piece, "Hair, Shoes, Coffee" is about the way we communicate with each other.

A fun comedy piece requiring a lot of acting "in between the lines." Examines the morning rituals of a woman through the eyes of her male friend. This play features Dominick DeNucci of Cedar Knolls and Gianna Esposito of Morristown. Directed by Dawn Afanador of Roseland.
The festival runs July 28-29, and August 4-6. Tickets are $15 for those 19 and older, and $13 for ages 18 and younger. You can buy tickets here, and visit the website for more information.
