Chatham Presbyterian Church Names Caitlyn Huetz as Director of Music

The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (PCCT) recently announced that Caitlyn Huetz has been named its Director of Music. In this role she will lead the church’s music ministry, including its chancel choir, bell choir and children’s music program.

Caitlyn joined PCCT’s staff in 2024 as director of children’s music, and in 2025 was appointed interim director of music.

“We’re delighted that Caitlyn will be moving into this new role,” said The Rev. Thomas A. Brown, pastor of PCCT. “She is a strong and capable leader, an excellent conductor, and has quickly become an integral member of our staff. We are fortunate to have someone with her unique blend of skills who can work well with musicians of all ages.”

Caitlyn earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Rutgers’ Mason Gross School of the Arts, where she received the Michael Fardink Memorial Award for Outstanding Vocalist.In addition to her role at PCCT, she serves as a private teacher of voice and piano at Elefante Music in New Providence and Scotch Plains. Also, she participates in several musical organizations, including Ars Musica Chorale in Ridgewood; Glassbrook Vocal Ensemble in Princeton; and as a freelance performer for other groups.
