Chatham Presbyterian Church Welcomes The Rev. Kathleen Edwards Chase

The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (PCCT) recently announced that The Rev. Kathleen Edwards Chase has joined its staff as Interim Pastoral Assistant for Mission Engagement.

In this role, she is assisting The Rev. Thomas A. Brown, PCCT’s Pastor, with leading worship every few weeks, preaching monthly, and providing pastoral care as needed. In addition, she will help coordinate the church’s adult education programs and work with the congregation’s mission and outreach committee to continue and strengthen its focus on community engagement. Through her leadership, Kathleen will help the church grow its programs, provide for its congregants, and further its mission of service, compassion, and connection.

Rev. Edwards Chase’s career has taken her in several directions. She served a year as an Oncology Chaplain Resident at Morristown Medical Center, and over 25 years was Senior Pastor at both the First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains, NJ, and earlier at Wooster Reformed Church in New York.

An enthusiastic adventurer, Rev. Edwards Chase enjoys yoga, hiking, skiing, travel, and spending time with her college-aged son and daughter. She lives in Pompton Plains.
