Chatham Teacher Makes, Delivers Face Shields To Front Liners
Jason Mariano has made and donated over 800 shields to first responders and health care workers across New Jersey.

CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham High School Design & Technology teacher Jason Mariano has been plying his skills outside of the classroom to benefit those on the front line fighting the new coronavirus, or COVID-19. And Morristown Department of Public Safety was just the latest recipient.

Mariano, the owner of Mobile Makers LLC, donated 30 face shields that were crafted on his 3D printers. So far, Mariano has made and donated over 800 masks to first responders and health care workers across New Jersey and he shows no signs of stopping.

Mariano has been accepting donations to help him buy the materials and has then been printing, creating, and distributing these life-saving shields through word of mouth and by reaching out to any agency where he thinks he can help, officials said.
"We are extremely thankful for this donation and hope to be able to support Jason as he continues his outstanding work," police said in a statement.
