Chatham Woman's Club: A Century Of Giving
Chatham Township Police the latest to receive finanical support from the organization.

CHATHAM, NJ - For over a century the Woman's Club of Chatham has been supporting the community through a series of financial donations that recipients say have altered the course of their lives. The Chatham Township Police Department was the most recent beneficiary, receiving a check for $30,000.
According to Chief of Police Thomas Miller, the money will be spent on police equipment.
"They are making similar donations to all first responder organizations in Chatham and Chatham Township," Miller said. "The Woman’s Club has always been supportive of us as well as all area first responders."

Indeed the Club regularly gives out scholarships to Chatham High School students. Back in May they awarded Amira Mouline, Grace Amend and Crystal Yoon $3,000 each. In December, Co- Presidents Caryl Anne McBride and Terry Kandalaft gave $50,000 for the Chatham Emergency Squad. That money was used to pay off the Stryker Power Cots installed on their ambulances. These cots cot are equipped with hydraulic lifts to make moving and transporting patients easier and safer.
But one of their largest donations was the $150,000 the Club made to the new teen room in Library of the Chathams.
