Update: Girls Golf Game Canceled

Cougars take on Madison, Kent Place and Ridge High in games Monday.

The boys tennis team routed Randolph 5-0 in Chatham on Friday, and the baseball team defeated Pingry 10-4 in a home game Friday.

On Saturday the boys lacrosse team lost to Mountain Lakes 8-7 at Madison High School in the Morris County Tournament game.

The girls lacrosse team defeated Mountain Lakes 7-6 in an county tournament game and now goes on to play Mendham on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Roxbury High School.

On Saturday the boys track team placed ninth in the Morris County Relays with 22 points and the following results:

The girls softball team will play in the Morris County Championships against Pequannock at Peterson Field in Rockaway on Thursday at 6 p.m. Admission to the game is $5 for adults, $4 for students and senior citizens.

The girls golf team was scheduled to take on Oak Knoll High School at the Fairmount Country Club at 4 p.m. Monday, but the game has been postponed to a time yet to be determined.

The following games are scheduled for Monday:

  • Boys varsity baseball vs. Madison High at 4 p.m. at Chatham High School
  • Boys JV baseball vs. Madison High at 4 p.m. at Chatham High School
  • Boys golf travels to Somerset Hills Golf Course to take on Bernards High at 4 p.m. Dismissal is at 2:15 p.m. and transport leaves from Chatham High at 2:20 p.m.
  • Girls varsity softball travels to Madison at 2:50 p.m. for a 4 p.m. game.
  • Girls JV softball travels with the varsity team for their 4 p.m. game against Madison.
  • Boys varsity tennis team takes on Madison at Chatham Middle School at 4 p.m.
  • Boys JV tennis team travels to Madison at 2:50 p.m. for their 4 p.m. game.
  • Girls varsity lacrosse travels to Kent Place School at 2:50 p.m. for their 4 p.m. game.
  • Girls JV lacrosse travels with the varsity team for their 5:30 p.m. game against Kent Place School.
  • Boys JV lacrosse travels to Ridge High School at 4 p.m. with pickup from Cougar Field for their game at 5:30 p.m.

 

The Chatham High Athletic Boosters Club is selling tickets for their "Ultimate Tailgate," which will be held on May 14. Tickets are $60 in advance, $70 at the door. Raffle tickets are $20 or three for $50.

The next Booster Club meeting is scheduled for June 7 at 7 p.m. in the Chatham High Media Center.
