Eck and Hull for Chatham Borough Council

Bringing Valuable Experience and Collaborative Skills

I am thrilled that Nick Eck and Sophia Hull are running to serve on Chatham Borough Council. I have known Nick for many years as a generous volunteer with a range of community groups, from the Chatham Performing Arts Boosters, to the Lacrosse Club, to the Chatham Democrats. He has served the town directly as a member of the Environmental Commission, and for a brief stint as Interim Mayor. He is a kind and collaborative person, and I am confident he will serve Chatham well as a member of Borough Council.

Sophia Hull, too, is a tremendous boon to Chatham and an ideal candidate for Borough Council. She is a professional Environmental City Planner, focused on improving communities’ quality of life and making communities greener, safer, and more walkable—all qualities I value greatly about Chatham. We are fortunate that Sophia is running to bring her valuable expertise to Council decision-making. She currently serves on the Planning Board and the Shade Tree Commission, so she is already deeply familiar with the current issues and opportunities for Chatham Borough. And like Nick, she is a team player who will collaborate well with members of Council, Chatham Borough’s professional staff, and community members.

The Democratic primary is contested this year, so it is crucial to come out to support these excellent candidates on June 2 (or vote by mail starting immediately). I hope you will join me in supporting Nick Eck and Sophia Hull for Chatham Borough Council.
