CUMNS Eric Carle Art Exhibit at The Library of the Chathams

Chatham United Methodist Nursery School student's artwork will be on display at Chatham Library from June 1 through June 14 for an Eric Carle art exhibit.  Each CUMNS student, whom attends the Nursery School's 4-yr-old, 8-week Art & Music Spring Enrichment Class, was asked to choose an animal from one of Eric Carle's many books shared in class which began with the same letter as their first name.  The students then created colorful roller paintings and designs which were then crafted into their personal animals.

Prints of the animals will be on display in the Children's Room at the Library of the Chathams from June 1-14.  The Library will offer an Eric Carle story hour on Saturday, June 5th, at 1:30 PM.  All are invited to attend.

Chatham United Methodist Nursery School, located at 460 Main St., offers a "Learning Through Play" environment for 3 and 4 year olds.  Applications are still being accepted for the 2010-2011 school year.  For information, please call Registrar Sue Maher at 973-600-2821, or Director Carol Bardon at 973-635-5261.
