Patience is a to be performed by the Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company on Nov. 6 as a benefit for Chatham TWIG#6, part of the Overlook Hospital Auxiliary. This is a non-profit organization that raises money for families of children with cancer. The group works directly with social workers at the Valerie Centers at MMH and Overlook to help families who have fallen on hard times financially and who also have a sick child.
They have done things such as pay heating bills, buys furniture, provide grocery gift cards, and volunteer time. The group is made up of women who live in Chatham, Madison, and Summit.
