Titans of the Romanitc Era

The  Metropolitan Orchestra of New Jersey, now in its thirty-ninth year, is pleased to announce its opening fall concert, the first of its three concert series, on Sunday afternoon, November 14th at 3:00 p.m. at Community Congregational Church -200 Hartshorn Drive, Short Hills. 

After the warm reception received during our inaugural season last year, the orchestra is delighted to begin its second season in Millburn Township performing at the beautiful Community Congregational Church.

Conductor and artistic director, Michael Stratechuk,  will lead the orchestra in a program titled, "Titans of the Romantic Era", to include: Rossini:  Overture to La gazza ladra (The Thieving Magpie);  Beethoven: Piano Concerto No.5 (Emperor) featuring guest artist, Dr. Sandor Szabo;  Dvorak: 8th Symphony.
