Filling "Flood Bucket" Cleaning Kits to Aid Victims of Disasters
The Madison Area YMCA Supported Chatham United Methodist Church in its Response to Aid Victims of Disasters
The Madison Area YMCA recently supported Chatham United Methodist Church in its response to aid victims of disaster by filling “Flood Bucket” Cleaning Kits.
The F.M. Kirby Children’s Center, the Rosettes gymnastics team, the Mariners swim team, the Y’s Teen Leaders, a LIVESTRONG at the YMCA class and a Zumba class helped fill buckets for those in need. The buckets contained essential items such as laundry detergent, household cleaner, dish soap, clotheslines, clothespins, sponges, scouring pads, scrub brushes, cleaning wipes, kitchen and work gloves, trash bags and dust masks.
The community is invited to fill buckets and donate them directly to Chatham United Methodist Church for future disaster relief outreach.
