Fundraiser For Convent House Coming Up In Chatham

From Covenant House: The 35th Annual Benefit for Covenant House, hosted by the Morris Area Auxiliary, will be held on Saturday, September 29th from 7-11PM at The Noe Pond Club in Chatham, NJ. The catered benefit will include festive cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music and a silent auction.

The event will help provide funds for Covenant House New Jersey which serves 2,000 home- less, runaway and at-risk youth between the ages of 18-21, by first responding to their immediate and basic needs of food, shelter clothing and healthcare; and them by giving them the sup- port they need to become self-sufficient and independent you adults.

Over 150 guests attended last years benefit, raising nearly $50,000 for Covenant House New Jersey. Each year, attendees are privileged to hear a moving personal account of the positive impact of Covenant House from a former resident. The Morris Area Auxiliary Board consist of 29 women from Madison, Chatham, Morristown, Harding and Florham Park.
