Giralda Farms Park Opens To The Public

136-acre park features a variety of hiking and biking trails.

The Giralda Farms Park in Chatham Township opened Saturday.

Mayor Kevin Sullivan told The Chatham Courier that he lobbied the Morris County Open Space Committee to approve funding to preserve the 136-acre lot, newjerseyhills.com reported.

“My appeal was easy as you can see. The grounds, remnants of the Gerladine Rockefeller Dodge Estate speaks for itself,” Sullivan said. “Today, through the hard work of many, the gates are open for your enjoyment.”
