Help Stock the Shelves for ECLC of NJ's New Thrift Shop in Madison!

We are so excited to open a boutique-style thrift shop in downtown Madison: Helene's Thrifts & Gifts!

The ECLC of New Jersey store at 16 Waverly Place will sell a wide assortment of everything from clothing and housewares to jewelry and small furniture. It also will create job training and employment opportunities for our adult clients.

We need the community's help to stock our shelves! Please consider donating gently used, resalable items to sell in our shop. (See list below.)

Bring donations through the front door between the hours of 10 a.m., to 6 p.m., from Monday through Saturday. Do not leave any donations outside the store!

NOTE: We are ONLY accepting the following clean and usable items:

• Small furniture (end tables, chairs, nightstands - please call first).
• Clothing (any season/decade), shoes, handbags, jewelry, accessories.
• Linens, throw pillows, clean area rugs (call before donating large ones).
• Holiday décor (off-season welcome; call before bringing large trees).
• Kitchenware (dishes, small appliances, cookware, utensils).
• Home décor (art, frames, lamps, vases, candles, knick-knacks).
• Craft supplies (sewing, knitting, scrapbooking, etc.).
• Electronics (in working order—no CRT/tube TVs).

About ECLC

ECLC of New Jersey is an accredited, nonprofit, educating students ages 5–21 with severe learning and/or language disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome or multiple disabilities at schools in Chatham and Ho-Ho-Kus.

Every student graduates with a plan for adulthood! We provide Transition Services starting at age 14 to bridge the gap from the classroom to a job or day program.

Many students stay within the ECLC family of services, either in our PRIDE Adult Program or in supported-employment jobs or support coordination services offered through our affiliate, Community Personnel Services (CPS).
