Household Hazardous Waste Collection In Morris County
Morris County has announced its 2022 collection dates for household hazardous waste.
CHATHAM, NJ — Morris County officials are advising residents to check under their kitchen sinks, garages and sheds for hazardous products and materials that have outstayed their welcome.
In addition to the permanent household hazardous waste facility in Mount Olive, the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority hosts disposal event days to provide Morris County residents with a safe, cost-free, and environmentally conscious way to dispose of unwanted household items that cannot be disposed of in regular trash.
The first disposal event will be held on May 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Public Safety Training Academy, 500 West Hanover Avenue in Parsippany. A current driver's license, valid lease, tax bill, or any other bill with a Morris County address is required as proof of residency. Individuals who do not have proof of residency will be denied entry to the event.
