Make Every Night A “Night of Conversation” with Your Teen

Interactive Parent/Teen Discussion & Dinner at the Madison Area YMCA: Thursday, November 15

Make every night a “Night of Conversation.” The Madison Area YMCA invites parents and teens in grades 6-12 to a Night of Conversation: an interactive Parent/Teen Discussion & Dinner on Thurs., Nov. 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Buttenheim Hall at the Y’s Family Center on Kings Road in Madison. This event is free and open to the community.

Participate in an evening of honest discussion and dinner, with a professional panel, around the growing national addiction epidemic. Families are invited to join the Madison Area YMCA and the Madison Chatham Coalition for an interactive discussion about substance abuse and healthy decision making. The professional panel includes licensed therapists and local law enforcement members.

Night of Conversation is an effort to support parents to raise healthy, confident and connected kids who are empowered to make healthy choices including how to avoid the use of alcohol and drugs. This year marks the fourth annual National Night of Conversation and the Madison Area YMCA is doing its part to offer families the tools and resources to make every night a “night of conversation.”
