Maple Sugar Fest Coming Up In Chatham

Enjoy sweet treats and sugaring demonstrations.

CHATHAM, NJ — The annual Maple Sugar Festival is coming up at the Great Swamp Outdoor Educational Center in Chatham.

The fest will be held Saturday, March 3 from noon to 4 p.m. Attendees can enjoy tree tapping demonstrations, maple cream making and tasting, snow cone making, and more. A guided hike showing maple sugaring history will also be offered, where you can taste different syrups and learn about the evaporation process.
