"An Evening of Health and Wellness" with Julia Erickson, Carrie Donegan, & Sheila Gargiulo

On Wednesday, May 3, 2017, The Montessori Children’s Academy (MCA) will host “An Evening of Health and Wellness” from 6:30-8:30PM at our MCA Morristown Campus located at 6 Kahn Rd. in Morristown, NJ.

This event will feature three speakers who will guide us in discovering strategies to decrease stress and incorporate wellness into our daily lives. Our first speaker will be Julia Erickson a graduate of Columbia University and a trained herbalist and women’s life coach who also provides customized workshops and wellness events to local corporations. The founder of Jolie in Madison, NJ, Mrs. Erickson has created Jolie as a center for total wellness. Jolie offers meditation and rowing sessions, as well as yoga classes for adults and children. During her presentation, Mrs. Erickson will share her secret that the body, mind, and spirit are one. We look forward to learning some meditation and yoga techniques for both adults and children. For more information about Julia and her studio, visit www.thejolielife.com.

This special evening will continue with a presentation on the benefits of essential oils by Sheila Gargiulo, a Speech Pathologist who works at Chesapeake Montessori School in Virginia. Recently, Ms. Gargiulo provided information about the value and research behind essential oil use as a vendor at the American Montessori Society Annual Conference in San Diego, CA. Ms. Gargiulo is joined by her colleague, Carrie Donegan, an internationally recognized author of two best-selling books and a public speaker in the field of essential oils and natural wellness. Ms. Donegan will share with us information from her current book Essential Oils: Healthcare for Today, which gives an easy to follow 90-day plan on how to incorporate essential oils to address the top 50 health issues of today. Ms. Donegan has also worked in several schools to teach how the diffusion of essential oils in the classroom promotes calm, focus, and increased brain function.
