Movie With Chatham Comedian to be Unveiled
Ensemble includes comedian Ben Bailey of Chatham.
“Bad Parents,” a new movie by Ridgewood filmmaker Caytha Jentis about overzealous sports parents, will be announced at the Marche Du Film that starts Wednesday.
The film ensemble comedy includes Ben Bailey of Chatham, Madison’s Janeane Garofalo, Christopher Titus, Michael Boatman, Cheri Oteri and Kristen Johnston. It also features Reiko Aylesworth, Bill Sage, Rebecca Budig and Ridgewood’s Rosie McCooe, Debbie Philips, Lauren Sudol and a cameo by "The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" Jacqueline Laurita.

The Cannes Film Market/Marche Du Film is the largest of the film markets where international distributors purchase movie rights.
Shot this past fall in Bergen and Passaic counties, it features familiar locales and faces in supporting roles and in the background—many of whom can be seen in the trailer.

The film was produced by Jentis and Dorothy Fucito of Ridgewood and co-produced by Carl Burrows of Hawthorne. Jentis is also the writer and director. Others from the community helped out in various production capacities.
