New Administrator Appointed In Chatham Township
Robert Hoffmann to take the post Feb. 1.

CHATHAM, NJ - The search to replace retiring Chatham Township Administrator Tom Ciccarone came to an end on Thursday as the Township Committee voted to hire Robert S. Hoffmann.
Ciccarone will retire on Feb. 1, the same day Hoffmann officially starts, after 19 years in the post. Hoffman's salary will be $175,000 a year.
According to officials, Hoffman was selected after an extensive search conducted by Jersey Professional Management, a municipal recruiting and consulting firm. Hoffman will join the Township team toward the end of January so that he and Ciccarone will have time together to ensure a smooth transition.
