New Jersey SAT Scores 2019: See Where Chatham Ranked
See how Chatham High School students fared in math, reading and writing and combined scores.
CHATHAM, NJ - The SAT is still considered the primary standardized test that judges a student's college qualifications. Patch put together the list of each New Jersey high school's most recent average scores that the state released, noting the combined SAT scores as well as the lists of scores in the two sections identified as "math" and "reading and writing."
Chatham ranked 11 out of 307 schools on the list for reading and writing with a score of 629. In math, students ranked 16 with an average of 627. Combined the test-takers ranked 16 with a total of 1256.
Perfect would be a combined 1600, or 800 in each section.

The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2017-18 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores. These reports are designed to inform parents, educators and communities about how well a school is performing and preparing its students for college and careers, according to the DOE.
