Were you affected by the outage? Let Patch know in the comments.

CHATHAM, NJ — We can’t fix Penn Station or update the subway’s signal systems. But we can give voice to your frustration, hold those in charge accountable and find creative ways to make commuting more pleasant. Patch is partnering with WNYC and Gothamist to do just that. Add this to the "summer of hell" disruptions: the New Jersey Transit's mobile ticking app was down Thursday morning, piling on another annoyance to an already disrupted commute.
Update: As of 10:58 a.m., mobile ticketing has been restored, NJ Transit said in a tweet. Read the original story here:

NJ Transit first addressed the outage at 5:49 a.m., telling a Twitter user they were "looking into it." In a 9:53 a.m. tweet, NJ Transit said they're addressing the outage, and advised riders to alert their operator or conductor.
Patch editor Dan Hampton first noticed the outage around 8:50 a.m. when he boarded a New York bound bus in Hudson County. The app was still down for him at 9:17 a.m.

The issue appears to be intermittent: while riders have continued to report connectivity issues online, this Patch reporter was able to access her account on the first try.
Hampton was allowed on his bus despite not being able to access his mobile ticket, but other early-morning riders weren't so lucky.
@NJTRANSIT I am 7 months pregnant and the bus driver took me off the bus bc the app didn't work and I only had $3 on me instead of the 4.50

Hey @NJTRANSIT: your ticketing app isn't working and one of your rt 128 drivers just kicked me off the bus because my ticket wouldn't load.
