No control in Chatham Township- a health and safety issue
The zoning board and the Mayor just do not care.
This is 10 Runnymede Road, the owners are Mr. and Mrs. E Markowitz who moved in a little over a year ago.
The photos display their home and the street I live on.
These photos were taken on Friday March 31- after contacting the chairman of the zoning board as well as the zoning inspector, and not getting any answer I contacted the Mayor, Curt Ritter, who advised me "Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we will have someone look into it on Monday. Please know you can always call the township directly at 973 635 4600 as a follow up to an email communications.- Curt" This was Friday afternoon, no one answering the phones, the police were called but their hands were tied.

This is health and safety risk, for our children, ourselves, etc....the drains leading into the great swamp were clogged with their debris, there were 3 inch nails on the roadway which punctured another neighbors tire which had to be replaced- how about the kids walking or riding their bikes?
Who is in charge here? I guess all the entitled new residents, renovations must be music to the zoning and the Mayors ears knowing that their tax revenue will rise along with the building.

Greg Impink, the field zoning officer in charge, works from 6 am to 12 noon? I haven't seen him on my street. Garbage strewn all over the front lawn, and that dumpster! Whoever gave anyone permission to leave overflowing ones on my street for 3 weeks?
Next post will be the over 6 foot white solid plastic vinyl fence that this neighbor put up...so much for "scenic impact"
