Picture Perfect: Artisans Guild Displays Work
Area residents admire exhibit at Gallery 54.
Area residents came to the Chatham Borough municipal building Saturday to admire the works on display by members of the Chatham Area Artisans Guild.
The Guild artists met with residents, discussed their work and interacted with other business owners in the community.
Mayor Nelson Vaughan was among those in attendance. In fact, it was he who suggested the Guild exhibit at Gallery 54. The mayor's passion and interst in the arts stem from his mother, who was a fine artist herself, he said.

"It is my vision for Chatham to become a place where artists feel inspired to create and where art lovers can find studios and galleries with a variety of selections to choose from," Vaughan said.
Having the combined exhibit allowed the Guild to promote its members' businesses and further build relationships within the community.
