Walkers Take On Cancer At Chatham Relay For Life

Chatham Townships Relay for Life cancer walk is back and in person after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. Relay for Life is the world's largest peer-to-peer fundraising event for cancer research. Relay for Life of Chatham, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society, will kick off on June 11 with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. on the Haas Field.

Chatham 8th Grader Earns 2nd Place In Robotics World Championship

A Chatham Middle School 8th grader recently competed with his team in the 2002 VEX Robotics World Championships in Dallas, returning with a division championship and a world title runner-up. Robot Revolution, based in Summit, is an after-school robotics program that launched the entire VEX IQ robotics program in New Jersey.

Chatham School District Gives Back 2 Unused Snow Days

Students and faculty at Chatham will soon have some extra days off, including a five-day weekend this week. The Chatham School District approved an amended 2021-2022 school calendar, which was revised to give back two unused snow days.
