Political Bumper Stickers Can Stay In Chatham Classrooms

After the issue was brought up by a parent who attended Back to School night in Chatham last month, John Belding of the Board of Education (BOE) Policy and Planning Committee announced teachers can keep their political bumper stickers in the classroom if they choose.

The stickers were questioned under the category of “political circulars” that are prohibited under district policy No. 3233, according to nj.com.
