Questions about YMCA Colony Pool Services Agreement?
2026 brings a change of managment to Colony. Submit your questions & comments: https://forms.gle/25BWhdX5Pd39PXXQ7

I am hoping Chatham Township residents will consider submitting questions about the YMCA Colony Pool Services Agreement here.
As I believe some residents are aware, Chatham Township has entered into an agreement with the Madison Area YMCA to manage Colony Pool for the 2026 season. As chair of the Colony Pool Advisory Committee and a Colony member for the past 10 years, I have some questions about this agreement, as I am sure many of you do as well. My attempts to seek answers from the Township have proven futile, prompting participation in public commentary during public meetings and the publishing of an LTE earlier this week (Answers Sought on Colony, Impacts to All Chatham Township Taxpayers).
Thankfully, efforts have paid off, and I recently received an invitation to meet with the YMCA. Because I believe that we, as Colony members or simply as Chatham taxpayers, have a right to ask questions, I seek your help in making the most of my meeting with the YMCA. Kindly submit any
questions or feedback that you have by using this form.
I truly appreciate the Township Committee members that helped make this opportunity to meet with the YMCA possible and look forward to working together to ensure the best possible member experience for those that truly love and value Colony as much as I do, especially the kids.
Public comments from the 2/10/26 Township Committee meeting can be reviewed by visiting the Chatham Township YouTube channel. Comments are at 3:30 and 1:10:00 into the meeting. To request a copy of the YMCA Colony Pool Services Agreement, complete the OPRA request form on the Township webpage and send it to the Town Clerk.
