St. Patrick students immersed themselves in the performing arts on Tuesday, October 3rd when middle school 6th-8th grade students visited New York City’s Lincoln Center.
The students, chaperoned by middle school teachers Mrs. Tadros, Miss Tournoux, Dr. Gibbs and early childhood / art teacher Mrs. Block, experienced a myriad of artistic rehearsals including the modern ballet “Liturgy”, Turandot Orchestra’s rehearsal at Metropolitan Opera House, and a percussion rehearsal at Symphony Hall. The students were delighted to tour Lincoln Center and learn about its rich architectural development and history. Students were even treated to a “Star Wars” themed performance, enjoying the movie while experiencing a live orchestra.
