Chatham, NJ – June 8, 2019 - Scooch A Mi Boutique (“the Boutique”) continues their mission of spreading Mindful Kindness by bringing the creations of artisans and artisan groups to the to the Fishawack Festival on June 8, 2019 in Chatham Borough, NJ. These items help you Give Back so that artisans around the world can lead a sustainable and independent life.

There will be an entire collection of Wayuutu bags crocheted by the indigenous living in the mountains of Colombia. The Boutique Founder, Ellen Eppie says, “This is the perfect bag for summer. It is light, secure, can be worn cross body, or as a shoulder bag. You will absolutely love all the colors and patterns.” Eppie suggests showing your style by choosing the one that is right for you while you help women make a fair wage to support their families. Isabel Lacouture, from Wayuutu will be available to describe the work that goes into each piece.

Ellen Eppie, Founder of Scooch A Mi Boutique, has always been passionate about finding the perfect gift or fashion statement for others. Invigorated by art, travel, culture and making an impact on society, Ellen combined these concepts with her retail background to create the Scooch A Mi experience: bringing out the individuality in clients through socially conscious and distinctively stylish treasures. Inspired by the fun nickname bestowed by her father as a child, from scocciare, which means “to pester” in Italian, Scooch A Mi and its logo (a rendition of her two daughters with Ellen in the center) represent the importance of loved ones.
