FREE TAX AID – Thursdays, 9:30am – 2pm, Feb. 16 – Apr. 13. Trained AARP volunteers will complete tax returns and submit them electronically. Will also do tenant rebate and property tax rebate forms. Participants do not need to be Chatham residents or have an AARP membership. COMMUNITY PAPER SHRED – Saturday, April 22, 9am – 12pm at the Chatham Train Station. All your confidential papers safely shredded. $10/box, $5/grocery bag. Proceeds to benefit the Senior Center.

PROGRAM: GET TO KNOW YOUR COUNTY OFFICIALS – Friday, April 28, 12:30pm. Meet Morris County Clerk Ann F. Grossi, Esq. and Freeholder Kathy DeFillippo. Find out more about county officials and how their work influences the services we rely on and the way our tax dollars are spent. Program preceded by light lunch at 12pm. Must sign up. BALANCE AND STABILITY WORKSHOP(S) – Wednesdays, 10:15am-11:15am, May 10 – July 12 at the Chatham Senior Center. Sessions include in-depth knowledge about how balance works from the ground up. Will improve balance with targeted exercises to do in class and at home. Goal of sessions is to minimize risk of falling, increase functionality in daily life and help maintain independence. $75 (10 classes & workbook). Class size is limited to 10 people to allow for 1-on-1 attention. Second class offered at 11:15am if enough interest. Must sign up. Participants do not need to be Chatham residents. DVD SPRING SERIES – Mondays, Mar. 13 – June 5, 10:00am – 12pm. “Music as a Mirror of History” This 24-lecture series explores the fascinating and surprising connections between famous music and historic events. Each session consists of two 45-minute lectures. Lectures are closed-captioned. Some sessions will be accompanied by live piano performances by Bertha Mandel, our in-house professional pianist.
