Sparta Wedding Crashers Were On Their First Date
If the rest of their dates go well, they can expect their wedding crashed in return, the Sparta bride told CBS 2.
SPARTA, NJ — It might go down as one of the most talked-about first dates in New Jersey history: the couple that gained notoriety after they crashed a Sparta wedding was reportedly on their first date.
Carly Wolfson and Ritchie Barry took dinner and dancing to a whole new level when they crashed Karen and Mike Tufo's wedding as their first date, the couple said during an interview with CBS2.
“I didn’t think he was going to go through with it. I was just like, I’m picking you up at this time, what’s your address? Get ready!” Wolfson told CBS2. “And he came out all dressed up. So I was like, alright I guess we’re doing this.”

The pair spent the whole night dancing, eating and drinking, maid-of-honor Aimee Boardman told Patch last week.
Although they arose minor suspicions, it wasn't until the next morning the Tufos knew they'd been wedding-crashed. The daters left a cheeky card, with a "buck for luck" taped inside and an apology for crashing the wedding.

Wolfson told CBS2 she followed up and messaged Karen Tufo to apologize, but the newlywed told her not to worry about it. If the rest of Wolfson and Barry's dates go as well as the first, Tufo said she plans on crashing their wedding in return.
