St. Patrick School 3rd - 5th Graders Take Fourth Place in New Jersey Consortium for Gifted and Talented Spelling Bee

St. Patrick School is very proud of the 3rd – 5th grade students who participated in the New Jersey Consortium for Gifted and Talented Spelling Bee in Parsippany last week. NJCGT seeks to create opportunities for member schools to “Accelerate Create and Enrich” their students through various enrichment activities throughout the year. St. Patrick School students were successful with Maggie Boler placing fourth in the spelling bee amongst a competitive group of area students. The students are very grateful to their teachers for preparing them for the event and to Mrs. Butkus, 5th Grade teacher who coordinated the day.
Saint Patrick School, accredited by AdvancED, is a co-educational, parochial elementary school for students preschool through eighth grade. The school has been nationally recognized as a United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon School, and a Diocese of Paterson Star School. Saint Patrick School is a STEM school that promotes student critical thinking and application throughout the curriculum in all grades.
