STEAM Week at the Madison Area YMCA's Space Camp

STEAM week was a camper favorite at Camp Wantago at the F.M. Kirby Children's Center of the Madison Area YMCA. By using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, campers engaged in critical thinking, problem solving and creative projects. Our little engineers used rubber bands, paper towel rolls, glue and cups to create masterpieces. They also constructed pyramids using only cups, rubber bands and strings while not touching the cups with their hands. Others experimented with homemade slime and painted with ice!
