Township Tax Manuever, Scam or not ?

I just thought I would remark on a recent decision made in the Township on the handling of the County Communications Services that Emergency Services Use.  While I do not pretend to know or understand the exact details, it is my understanding that the COSTS of utilizing the County Communications Services are now being thrown into the County Tax Bill we pay in our quarterly taxes instead of being put in our Township Property Tax Bill.  Here are my questions. 


1.  Will my municipal taxes now decrease since my county taxes are going to increase ?  If not, why not ? 

2.  Was this merely a political tactic to make the Township look like they are cutting taxes when in fact, they merely are transfering some to the county portion of our tax bill. 

The Patch should cover this and communicate the details of what is going on because the taxpayers should know about this kind of stuff and have a chance to participate in the discussion before these types of decisions take place.
