Turkey Trot Raises $8,500 For Chatham Twp. Fire Department
Seventh annual event on Thanksgiving was most successful in event's history.

CHATHAM TWP. - Tis the season for giving.
And thanks to the Chatham community, the township volunteer fire department is on the receiving end of a substantial amount of money after the most successful Turkey Trot to date.
The 7th annual fun family walk and run, which took place on Thanksgiving morning, raised more than $24,000 thanks to 950 participants.

The funds were divided to benefit both the Chatham Volunteer Fire Department and Diabetes Research and Awareness.
Chatham Fire President John Benton and Chief Bob Evans were on hand to receive a check in the amount of $8,500 from Chatham Turkey Trot Race Committee Members Jim Connelly and Grace Ritter and President Curt Ritter.
