From kids reading aloud to therapy dogs, to a free guided mediation class this Saturday, everything happening at the library this week:

CHATHAM, NJ — This week we are wrapping up our first session of ESL classes. Stay tuned, we are planning a fall session to start in September. New students are welcome to enroll! This is the last week of calm and quiet at the library before our summer reading program starts with a bang! The kickoff event will be on Monday, June 25, at 7 p.m. – a fabulous magic show, fun for the entire family.

THURSDAY, JUNE 21
Ⓒ Miss Carol Dance – 10 or 10:45 a.m.
For preschoolers and their caregivers
Miss Carol introduces basic movement to music in a fun and loving atmosphere.
Ⓐ English as a Second Language (ESL) – 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
This is the eighth and last class in the spring ESL series. Students are divided into small groups by their skill level. Classes are taught by volunteer tutors.
FRIDAY, JUNE 22
Ⓣ Video Game Club – 3 to 4:45 p.m.
Grades 6 to 12
Stop by to play Super Smash Bros. on the big screen!
SATURDAY, JUNE 23
Ⓐ Guided Meditation Class – 10 a.m.
Jean Leigh will present a class focusing on breathing. Please bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion, or blanket. There will also be chairs for seated meditation. You may wish to bring a notepad or journal to record your thoughts during the session.
