Storytime is an 8-week, progressive program for preschoolers and their caregivers. Registration required

Ⓒ ShopRite Nutrition: Celebrating Red Foods – 4 p.m.
Ages 5 to 8 Limit: 15 children

honor of Valentine’s Day and Heart Health Month, let's learn about red fruits and veggies and

Group 1: Players with little or no experience with chess
4 – 4:45 pm Suggested ages 6 to 8 Limit: 12 children
Group 2: Players who can finish a game with checkmate
5 – 5:45 pm Suggested ages 8 & Up Limit: 16 children
Chess Expert Sean Finn will lead this series of Chess for Kids.

Ⓐ The Schuyler Sisters and Alexander Hamilton – 7 p.m.
Rick Feingold, a lecturer with a degree in History from Rutgers University, will discuss the love story of Elizabeth Schuyler and Alexander Hamilton. Elizabeth, daughter of wealthy General Philip Schuyler, married Alexander, a penniless orphan and immigrant. The love letters Hamilton sent to Eliza during their courtship will be read, and information will be offered concerning two women, Angelica Schuyler Church and Maria Reynolds, who also had designs on Alexander.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7

Introduce your child to basic Spanish vocabulary with fun stories, songs and music!
Ⓐ Income Tax Assistance – 10 am to 2 pm
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is held on Wednesdays, February 7 to April 11 from
10 am to 2 pm. Appointments for this free service may be made in person or by calling the
library at 973-635- 0603. Please bring all your financial records from 2017, copies of your 2016
Federal and State tax returns, photo ID, and all printed and blank forms from the Internal
Revenue Service.
Ⓒ Homework Helpers – 3:30 to 5 pm
Grades K – 5 Limit: 6 children per session
Registration opens two weeks prior to each session
Two Chatham High School students will provide homework help for children in grades K to 5. All subjects welcome!
Ⓐ Gen Y Networking Group - 7 pm
All are welcome to attend this forum dedicated to Generation Y young adults interested in job search, networking, and career development.

Ellen Kranefuss, Diabetes Prevention Program Coordinator at the Madison YMCA, will host a question and answer session on the prevention of type 2 diabetes. Currently one in three Americans is at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Participants will learn how to assess their risk and explore prevention options. This program will be presented twice for your convenience.

Registration opens on the Monday before each session. Priority will be given to children who
are not currently enrolled in Chess for Kids.
Join Ryan and Darren, members of the Chatham High School Chess Club, for an afternoon of
chess! They will help beginners learn how to play. All skill levels welcome.
