Week Of Sept. 3 At Library Of The Chathams
The Library of the Chathams launched a new chess club for adults! Enjoy a game of chess on a Saturday afternoon twice a month.

CHATHAM, NJ — We have had a chess program for children for two years now, and the interest never subsides. The program has opened the door to the wonderful world of chess logic, strategy and foresight to hundreds of Chatham children.
This fall is no exception, and registration for Chess for Kids starts this week, on September 5. However, we have been getting questions from adults: What about us? Can you do something for adult chess players? We are listening, and this week will be the first time when adult players will have a space of their own – Chess Club for Adults (see Saturday listing). This is an experiment, and if there is enough interest, it can develop in different directions, such as classes or tournaments. All players welcome!
For information about all programs or to sign up, please call the library at 973-635-0603 or go to http://www.chathamlibrary.org
