The Suburban Music Study of NJ will host its Grace Gimbel Scholarship Competition on Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Chatham United Methodist Church. For this annual event, soloists from middle and high school are chosen from a round of video applications. Seven finalists have been chosen this year to each perform for 20 minutes at the competition on March 8th. All in the area are welcome to this free event. Come and hear some of the finest up and coming classical artists from Northern New Jersey! The SMSC of NJ is a Madison based non-profit music club holding classical music recitals every month at Madison Public Library's Chase Room and supporting young classical musicians through a Fall Invitational Recital and the Spring Scholarship Competition.
