Tractor-Trailer Lands on Car, Injures 1 in Route 295 Crash

One person transported to the hospital following the Wednesday wreck, according to fire officials.

One person was taken to the hospital following a crash that saw a tractor-trailer pin a car against the guardrail on Route 295 just south of the Route 70 interchange Wednesday morning, according to the Cherry Hill Fire Department.

Firefighters and emergency personnel responded to the crash just before 10 a.m., not far from where a crash occurred in a snowstorm last week. The truck, pulling a Dole trailer, left the car up on two wheels on the guardrail and partially under the trailer.

Emergency personnel were still on scene close to an hour after the crash, and the left lane of the highway was closed. There was no immediate word on the condition of the person transported from the scene, or a cause for the accident.
