Cyclist Killed In Crash After Biking Group's Chain Reaction In Cherry Hill: Police
2 bikers in Cherry Hill have died in separate collisions over a 2-week period, officials said.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — A chain reaction between a group of bicyclists sent one rider into an oncoming vehicle, giving her fatal injuries, according to the Cherry Hill Police Department.
The crash occurred at about noon Saturday around Kresson Road and Oakley Drive, officials said. A group of cyclists was riding eastbound on Kresson Road when one made contact with another, according to Cherry Hill Police Lt. Thomas Leone.
The contact sent the first bicyclist into the path of a vehicle traveling in the same direction, Leone told Patch. The vehicle struck the cyclist, authorities said.
