CHERRY HILL, NJ — Twenty-five Cherry Hill residents were among 122 additional cases of the coronavirus reported in Camden County over the weekend, officials announced. No new deaths were reported in the county from July 11-13, according to officials.
With the new cases, there are now 8,211 coronavirus cases in Camden County with 501 confirmed deaths. In Cherry Hill, there are 1,075 cases and 154 confirmed deaths.
“Although our region’s COVID-19 numbers remain relatively steady, we have to be extremely careful as much of the country experiences profound levels of viral transmission,” Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “Just this weekend, at least 20 states set records for new cases in a single day. We cannot afford to lose the months of progress that we have made in beating back coronavirus. We each have to do our part to save lives and keep one another safe. If you travel to any of the states listed in the governor’s quarantine advisory, self-isolate for 14 days; if you are in public, wear a mask, even if you’re outdoors; and maintain social distancing whenever possible. We can continue to reopen our economy and move forward if we act responsibly.”
