7 New Stores Coming To The Cherry Hill Mall

PREIT is bringing new stores and services to the mall thanks to its partnership with 1776.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Seven new retailers are coming to the Cherry Hill Mall as Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) looks to diversify the mall’s offerings.

Ardene, a Canadian fashion store, will open its first location in the region at the Cherry Hill Mall, PREIT announced last week. The 11,000 square foot store will open later this year.

Kay Jewelers will open a 1,700 square foot store, and Aeropostale will re-open its 6,000 square foot location later this year.

Peloton will operate as a 300 square foot kiosk in center court. Customers will have the opportunity to test ride the Peloton bike and receive a personalized tutorial on form and bike settings. This is the brand’s PREIT first location. It will offer customers the opportunity to test its technology and immersive class content that offers a leaderboard and socially connected experience.

Fatburger will offer a fast-casual experience, cooked-to-order meals using only the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking methods. It will open by the end of the year.

The announcements come as Balsam Hill, which operated a pop-up location last winter, reopened with a selection of foliage products, ornaments and holiday décor on Friday, Sept. 21.

Dough Life is also currently open and offers 12 flavors of edible cookie dough, with new flavors released every month.

The mall now also offers Happy Returns, which allows consumers to return or exchange their ecommerce purchases from participating online brands while at the mall, further evidence of the merging of shopping habits between on and offline sources.

The new stores and services follow the announcement of PREIT’s partnership with 1776, a new-to-portfolio concept that will drive innovation among the local retail community, as well as the opening of several international brands including Intimissimi and Zara over the past year.
