On April 6 at around 3 p.m., emergency medical service crews responded to the 500 block of Clinton Street for a report of an unconscious man on the ground.

Thomas Haas Jr., of Camden, was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was declared dead at around 4:10 p.m.

The medical examiner found the cause of death to be blunt torso trauma and ruled it a homicide.
