Dr. John Tedeschi, CEO of Continuum Health Alliance, Named Finalist in 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in Greater Philadelphia

Marlton, NJ – June 10, 2013 – Continuum Health Alliance announced today that Dr. John Tedeschi, CEO and Chairman of the Board, has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Award in Greater Philadelphia. The award recognizes high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Finalists were selected from over 70 nominations by a panel of independent judges and award winners will be announced at a special gala on June 20 at the Terrace Ballroom of the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

Dr. Tedeschi is a distinguished leader in the healthcare industry and is recognized nationally for his work in the field of pediatric medicine. Throughout his career, he has worked to ensure a higher standard of care for patients and develop new and innovative programs for health promotion and prevention. Dr. Tedeschi has been featured on “top” lists and in publications including Best Doctors in America, the 2008 Guide to America’s Top Pediatricians, and multiple listings in the National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals. He serves as a member of the Southern NJ Perinatal Cooperative's Board of Directors, the organization he founded in 1978 to improve maternal and neonatal healthcare statewide. His exemplary career over four decades in pediatric medicine was also recognized in October 2009 with the launch of The John M. Tedeschi Pediatric Institute at Virtua, a $25 million programmatic and philanthropic initiative designed to improve children’s health at the local, state, and national levels.

Now in its 27th year, the Entrepreneur Of The Year Program has expanded globally to recognize company builders in over 140 cities and in more than 50 countries throughout the world. Regional award winners go on to compete at the national level. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 16, 2013.
