CHERRY HILL, NJ — A longtime auto-repair shop in Cherry Hill is permanently closing soon, ownership told Patch. Nov. 8 will be the last day of business for Universal Auto Repairs (800 Route 70 W). A reason for the closure was not provided. But the property has been targeted as a future Philly Pretzel Factory location. The Cherry Hill Planning Board is scheduled to vote Monday on a resolution to approve the soft pretzel eatery for the property. Philly Pretzel Factory would be moving a block away from its current Route 70 location to a more-spacious area. Universal Auto Repairs operated for 30 years.
