Rock On, Logan! Weezer Puts Up Billboard For South Jersey Fan Who Won Halloween Contest
Say it ain't so! A local Weezer fan has a billboard with his name on it, and in Comic Sans of all fonts.

BERLIN, NJ — A local rock fan's pumpkin-carving skills have earned a public acknowledgment in Camden County from the band Weezer.
The alternative rock band held a Halloween pumpkin-decorating contest this year, and a fan named Logan in South Jersey was one of two to win a personalized billboard, though he had to wait a few months. The band shared a photo of Logan's billboard on Instagram on Christmas Day.
"Hi Logan, we got your Halloween billboard up just in time for Christmas," the band wrote on Instagram. It’s located on Route 30 (White Horse Pike) near Florence Avenue in Berlin.

It says, "Hi Logan this is your billboard. We hope you like it. 🎃 - Weezer"
The band used the Comic Sans font for Logan's billboard, a whimsical touch that began with a fan in Utah who bought a billboard that just said "WEEZER" in the typeface. That fan, Cory Hunter Winn, owned a marketing company and decided to buy the billboard because he and his coworkers are huge fans, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

In October, Weezer apparently bought a billboard near the original Utah one to thank Winn for the marketing ploy.
"Thanks to whoever bought the billboard down the road. - Weezer.” they wrote.
Soon after, the group announced the pumpkin-related "Weezerween" contest.
Logan and a fan named Caroline from Wisconsin won. The band shared their entries on Instagram, though didn't specify which was Logan's and which was Caroline's.
One entry was a painted mockup of the band's "Blue Album" cover, with each member's head replaced with carved pumpkins. The other was a mini-diorama of Weezer performing inside a carved pumpkin, complete with lights and music.
Weezer formed in 1992 in Los Angeles and is led by vocalist and guitarist Rivers Cuomo with bandmates Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner. Some of the group's big hits include "Buddy Holly," Say It Ain't So," "Undone (The Sweater Song)," "Beverly Hills," and "Island in the Sun."
The band is working on a four-album box set called "SZNZ" (pronounced as "seasons"), and has released each one in turn. "SZNZ: Winter" came out on Dec. 21.
