Flurries began to turn to light snow, which is expected to taper off between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

As the snow began to fall on Camden County Wednesday afternoon, the Camden County Department of Public Works deployed more than 70 pieces of equipment and 80 employees to the 12 winter maintenance districts.
They are working to clear 1,200 lane miles of county roadway for a storm that promises to extend well into the night.
“Starting from storm preparations yesterday, county personnel are continuing to treat roads and are prepared to plow any accumulation that takes place,” Camden County Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “This is a full scale operation with all equipment and manpower mobilized to keep Camden County motorists moving and streets clear during the rush hour surge.”
