Cherry Hill Cancels Many Monday Afterschool Activities

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Due to the possibility of severe weather on Monday afternoon and evening, the Cherry Hill School District has canceled all most of its after-school activities for those periods of time, the district announced.
However, as of 1 p.m. Monday, the vocal concert scheduled for this evening is still taking place, the district also said.
Thunderstorms, heavy rains, hail and possible isolated tornadoes are expected to hit the Garden State on Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. All New Jersey counties were under a hazardous weather outlook, citing severe thunderstorms possible later in the day. Read More:

The storm is expected to begin around 1 p.m. and is expected to last until 9 p.m., according to NWS.
